Itel makes some of the most affordable phones, and they are gearing up to launch a low-budget 5G phone called iTel P55. The phone is expected to be sold below $150 in Nigeria, making it the cheapest 5G phone when it’s released. There isn’t a precise date for the release from iTel as they are currently focused on launching the iTel S23 Plus in Nigeria.
So far, we know that the iTel P55 will come with 5G for way less than the usual price of other affordable 5G devices. There are many 5G phones from Poco, Samsung, and Realme, but they aren’t as affordable. iTel is ready to change the game with the upcoming iTel P55.
The phone’s specs aren’t precise yet, but from what we know, it will come with two cameras at the back. It might use a Unisoc processor because that’s what the brand has used on their devices this year. Hopefully, we will get a MediaTek processor this time around. The battery should be 5000mAh since 5G devices usually consume extra power because of the 5G chip.
It should continue in the same direction as the iTel S23+ with its large 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved display. The phone is powered the Unisoc T616 with 8GB LPDDRX 4 RAM and 256GB UFS 2.0 storage space. It has 5000mAh and supports 18 watts fast charging with a 50MP primary camera.
