Samsung Mobile officially launched a new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market. The Galaxy M01 Core which costs under INR 10,000, will be the cheapest Samsung device currently in India and runs on the Go edition version of the Android 10 operating software. The phone is built around a small and compact 5.3" screen. The display features a 720p resolution with 277 pixels per inch density. Getting an HD display phone at this price range is definitely of good value. Inside the Galaxy phone is a MediaTek MT6739 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. The chipset is paired with a 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. If the memory is too small for you, there is a second memory option of 2GB RAM with 32GB storage. Camera-wise, the Galaxy M01 Core sports a single 8MP rear camera with 1080p videos and a 5MP selfie camera housed at the top bezels. Battery capacity is 3,000 mAh and there is a 'Maximum Power Saving Mode' which helps the battery life last longer by running only critical apps. Other notable features of the Galaxy M01 Core includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and GLONASS support, NFC, microUSB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core will be available for purchase online from July 29 at Samsung's retail stores and Samsung Opera House. It will come in Red, Black and Blue body colours. The 1/16GB base model costs INR 5,500 while the 2/32GB model costs INR 6,500.
