iTel Mobile might have just stepped up their game this 2018, as the company went ahead to launch three bezel-less smartphones in India. The company is known for making only budget-friendly smartphones with just 2GB RAM and below. Well, the S42 comes with a major 3GB of RAM which is a major improvement for the company. That's not all, all three smartphones come with the trending bezel-less display, dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio. The design on the three smartphones is somewhat classy than what we are used to seeing from itel. They all sports a rear fingerprint scanner for easy access to the device, and a dual-LED flash unit for the selfie cameras as well. The S42 will be iTel's first ever smartphone to powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip. The bezel-less screen is a 5.65-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass on top. Internally, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chip with a quad-core processor. For multitasking, there's a massive 3GB of RAM available, according to iTel. In terms of storage, 16GB is available and expandable up to 128GB with a memory card. For photography, there's a 13MP rear shooter with dual-LED flash and another 13MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash as well. In the connectivity department, it supports 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Powering it all is a 3,000mAh battery, while it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The itel A44 and A44 Pro come with similar features, sporting a smaller 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS capacitive touchscreen. Boasts of just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, while the A44 Pro comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage. However, the A44 and A44 Pro still chips with a quad-core 64-bit MediaTek processor. At the rear, the A44 has a 5MP camera, while the A44 Pro has 8MP rear camera, both with dual-LED flash. While they both come with 5MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash as well. They both support 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Powered by a 2400mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The iTel S42 is priced at Rs 8,499, that's about N45,000 to N50,000. While the itel A44 is priced at Rs 5,799, that's between N25,000 to N30,000. The itel A44 Pr0 will retail between N30,000 to N40,000 and they will all go on sale before April.
