Just a day after unveiling the Spark 5, TECNO Mobile is back with another Spark smartphone. The new Spark 5 Air is not your regular smartphone thanks to its gigantic screen size.
The TECNO phone features a 7-inch screen panel, making it the first TECNO Spark phone with a 7-inch screen. It features 720 x 1640 pixels resolution, which is really poor for a screen that size. There is a waterdrop notch in the display which as you expected houses the selfie camera of 8MP sensor, just like you’ve on the Spark 5.

The module at the back is a dual-camera setup, even though it is designed to look like a triple setup. It consisting of a 13MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and an AI secondary lens. There is a quad-LED flash inside the module for a better shot in low-light conditions. Also at the back of the device is a fingerprint reader.
The TECNO Spark 5 Air is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 processor which is married to a 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The device runs on Android 10 Go edition with the HiOS 6.0 custom skin slapped on top.
Battery-wise, the Spark 5 Air retains the same 5,000 mAh battery featured on the Spark 5. There is no mention of fast charging support but we doubt it’s available here. There is a 3.5mm audio jack present for analogue headphones.
There is no information from TECNO Mobile regarding the release or pricing of the TECNO Spark 5 Air. Whenever the phone drops, it will be available in Misty Grey, Ice Jadeite, Vacation Blue and Spark Orange body colours.
Techblet.com will keep you updated as regards the phone availability and pricing in Africa, especially in Nigeria.
