TECNO Mobile has officially launched the Spark 5. The newest member of the Spark family is already available for pre-order in Ghana. It is expected to be available in other West African countries like Nigeria soon.
The Spark smartphone houses a 6.6-inch screen with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution and 90.2% screen-to-body ratio. While the punch-hole on the display features an 8MP selfie camera and a surprisingly dual-LED flash.
The camera module at the back features a quad-LED flash along with a 13MP main lens, a 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth lens and a fourth lens, whose function is not specified by the company. Next to the camera module is a fingerprint reader which serves as one of the two biometric security. The other one being the face unlock via the front camera.
Also, TECNO Mobile did not specify the chipset featured inside the smartphone. We are only made aware that it has an Octa-core CPU and paired with 2GB/32GB memory configuration. Software-wise, the Spark phone runs on TECNO’s HiOS 6.1 based on Android 10 OS.
The TECNO Spark 5 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery capacity. The charging speed is unspecified as of this moment. It has four body colour options; Misty Grey, Ice Jadeite, Vacation Blue and Spark Orange. The pre-order price in Ghana is set at GHS 720, which is roughly around $125.
