Tecno is on the brink of releasing its latest flagships that including the Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro 5G. These are top-tier phones from the smartphone brand, and they are expected to come with some high-end specs. These devices will succeed the current Phantom X.
According to rumours and leaks, the Phantom X2 Pro 5G is expected to come with an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be running on Android 13, and the latest HiOS Ui which will be more refined to some extent. Speculators are of the opinion that the chipset powering the phone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 because it is expected to be the flagship Tecno phone of 2022.

Phantom X2 Launch Date
The Phantom X2 will be TECNO most powerful device ever released. Being a true flagship, TECNO plans to launch the Phantom X2 before the end of 2022-around November to be precise. I am of the opinion that we might see the Phantom X2 with a less powerful chipset compared to the Pro model. It is expected that the pro model would have 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The regular model is expected to come with 8GB RAM and a 256GB storage option. Both will have 5G. We are expecting a 5000mAh battery on both phones and at least 45W fast charging on both phones. The fast charging might even be as high as 65W according to some sources, although there hasn’t been any news over the months that Tecno is working on a faster-charging technology.
We have the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G sitting at 33W fast charging and it is currently the latest device from the brand. The Phantom X2 and X2 Pro 5G are expected to have premium build quality, and if we are to go by the standards set by Tecno nowadays we have to agree.
According to rumours, the main camera on both phones will be a 64MP sensor, and the selfie camera is expected to be a 32MP lens. While it is exciting I think the regular X2 might come with a 50MP or 48MP lens, so that they can keep the price low. Tecno is the leading brand in many African markets and the Phantom series is where they put all the effort to give their best.
