The Infinix Hot 20 Play is the successor to the Infinix Hot 12 Play that was released earlier this year. It comes with a slightly different design with a plastic build and plastic frame. The phone has the traditional fingerprint scanner at the back, and it’s quite big in the hand due to its size. It supports dual 4G sim cards and a slot for an SD card.
The Infinix Hot 20 Play comes with an IPS LCD display and Infinix added a 90Hz refresh rate on the display to make it smoother. It has a 720p resolution and the display is colorful and vibrant. The display is quite bright outdoors but you have to set it to max brightness under the sun. It has a 6.82-inch size which is big and if you have small hands you won’t reach the top easily. The display is responsive to text and the bezels around the display are noticeable.
It comes running on Android 12 out of the box with XOS 10.2 as the user interface. Infinix UI comes packed with customization features as well as unnecessary applications. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 and it has up to 128GB of storage and 4GB RAM. Performance is okay on the phone but I wouldn’t classify it as a gaming phone despite the large display.
The Infinix Hot 20 play has a 13MP main camera alongside a QVGA lens and it also has an 8MP selfie camera. You can expect decent photos from the camera as well. It has a 6000mAh battery and 18Watts fast charging support. The phone can also charge other phones with its 5Watts wired charging feature.
