To make sure your devices are running at their best, McAffee cybersecurity has identified 16 applications with malware that were once available in the Google Play Store.
According to the cybersecurity firm McAffee, the sort of malware that these applications contain is a “Clicker” form of malware, which means that it has the ability to control the device of the victim and browse websites without the victim’s knowledge or consent. As of this moment, the apps can no longer be downloaded from the respective stores. However, it is quite possible that a significant number of people still have them installed on their phones.
