The Tecno Spark Go 2023 is a budget-friendly device from Tecno. Last year we saw the Tecno Spark 9 Pro and Spark 9T and they were budget-friendly. The new release from the brand takes things even further down in pricing. It is more of an entry-level phone suitable for first-timers and those who don’t use their phone all the time.
The Spark Go 2023 comes with an IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution. It has an 84% screen-to-body ratio and it’s quite bright outdoors. The phone has a plastic build with a camera in Ireland housing the rear fingerprint scanner. There are two cameras at the back of the phone and we will talk more about them in a bit. The phone has a water drop notch housing the selfie camera and it’s quite minimal.
It runs on Android 12 and HiOs 12 is the user interface and it is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22. The phone has 3 or 4GB RAM and 32 or 64GB storage space. It will be better if you get the 64GB model instead because the 32GB space will fill up easily. The phone will run casual games like candy crush easily but I advise against using it to play titles like COD mobile.
It comes with a 13MP main camera and a QVGA lens at the back. The Tecno Spark Go 2023 comes with a 5MP selfie camera upfront. It has a 5000mAh battery that is capable of lasting a whole day on a single charge. The phone charges through a USB C port which is great to see considering Tecno was still using micro USB on their entry-level phones. It has a boxy design with curved edges and it’s available in different colors.
