DraStic DS Emulator is my all-time favorite gaming emulator! Thanks for the post, Joseph.
Regards.
I grew up with Mega Man X3 and Sunset riders. I’m trying to remember 2 games that my dad played. One of them was on this i think. It showed someone walking at night then the screen looks up at the stars and i think a dragon or some type of monster flying in the sky. The other game was on a different system but it look like a fighting game and i know it wasnt mortal kombat cause there was no blood lol. Anyway i barly remember it but one of the stages was on top of a montian and i think one of the characters was a human bird thing and they had difderent monsters So hopefully one of you guys can help me to find the games im looking for lol.
What I don’t get is why Nintendo didn’t get together with Rare to do a 32 meg, ACM graphics Mario Kart sequel on the SNES possibly using the Super FX 2 chip for a boost or even companies like Konami teaming up with Nintendo & Rare to do a 32 meg, ACM Castlevania and/or Contra game just to see what they could’ve accomplished together. They could’ve made those games as big as the Donkey Kong Country series. Super Return of the Jedi should’ve been much bigger & better than it was. They were so lazy they didn’t even change the way (1 handed) Darth Vader fought you from Empire to Jedi & it was a cakewalk to beat him. A few missed opportunities there
Hello Victoria, Yes Tencent Gaming Buddy is an excellent PSP emulator, we have reviewed recently as well. Thanks for sharing
Definitely great review for the emulators. But I would like to mention one more thing which you didn’t. That is Tencent Gaming Buddy PUBG Emulator. You know now a days literally every PUBG mobile users use this emulator as it is officially realised from Tencent, the owner of PUBG. Yeah its also true that Tencent Gaming Buddy might not be optimized for all other games but definitely the most optimized fot PUBG mobile. Btw thnx alot for your great reviews. ??
Anyone else having issues using a MOGA Pro Power gamepad with FPSE? All the buttons work in EPSXE but the triggers plus sticks do not work in FPSE for me. If I can fix the whole gamepad issue with FPSE I would be happy to use it as my main PSX amulator but since I have the issues I am stuck using EPSXE right now
“The only thing I would have done differently from a format standpoint would be to disallow any ports of previously existing games. That would have disqualified Pokémon Firered/Leafgreen, A Link to the Past, Super Mario Advance (SMB3), Final Fantasy VI, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. Don’t get me wrong, those are all /great/ ports, but they are just updates of stuff you could play elsewhere. There are so many gems that are only available on GBA that it feels a bit wrong for nearly 20% of a top games list to be ports.
That said, maybe I only feel that way because I actually have access to those games on their original systems. If all someone has is a GBA, they should /absolutely/ pick up the amazing ports that are available, because they’re definitely not to be missed.”
Heya i am for the first time here. I came across this board and I find It really useful
so I installed the app and everything and it keeps telling me to reserve 2GB of my hard drive. I just got this laptop and I have nothing installed or and space being used. how can I get by this problem so that i’ll be able to enjoy this app?. it seems really good and I wanna switch some games from my phone as they’re taking up way to much space. I’ve seen my friends and others using Memu and it works insanely well.
The Super Nintendo era was such a great time to grow up in the former United States of America. The early 90’s was a great time to be a kid!
It really surprises me how 16-bit game design has not caught on like the over used retro 8-bit has. I was hoping games would start to graduate to the 16-bit era of nostalgia but it has not. Hopefully soon!
I’m searching for a super nintendo beat’em’up style game, that I never seen since my childhood.
It featured big buffed guys, and you could beat wending machines, to give you canned drink, that you could drink (seemingly the character was pressing the can against his forehead as he drank) and gain lifebar back.
Anyone remembers?
This is just an issue for me but.
Chrono trigger is five here and on the best games of all time. Which is fine, I find this channel to have this most reasonable top tens I’ve ever seen. But there’s one problem. It’s inconsistent. The entrees on their top five for this list are
5 Chrono
4 Donkey kong country
3 Mario kart
2 Mario world
1 And a link to the past
And on their top ten of all time it’s
5. Chrono trigger
4. Super Mario world
3. Half life 2
2. Tetris
1. Ocarina of time
Obviously ocarina of time replaces link to the past in this situation, considering the one per franchise rule, but I find it very strange that the only snes titles set for top ten of all time are 2 (super Mario world) and five (Chrono trigger) on this list. Why isn’t Chrono trigger Mario kart? It’s inconsistent. The only reasonable explanation I can come to is that Donkey kong country and Mario kart are bunched into the Mario franchise, making this list break the one per franchise rule.
So games like Shadowrun, Demons Crest, Harvest Moon, Actraiser, Ogre Battle, Breath of Fire, Evo, Mystical Ninja, the Super Star Wars games, XMen Mutant Apocalypse, several great Disney platformers, Lost Vikings, Prince of Persia or Battletoads Battlemaniacs don’t make the list, but TWO Mortal Kombat do, despite being highly overrated gimmicky and terrible fighters and being gimped on the SNES compared to their arcade counterparts?! Also, what’s with the lack of SHMUPs?
That’s a good list, though some of the choices puzzle me. I found DKC 2 and DKC 3 were both more fun to play than the original. I did expect FFVI to be in the top 5, that seems kind of weird. My personal favorite game of all time is Chrono Trigger, so I would have loved to see that at number 1. But with most people I’ve talked to that played a lot of snes games, they tend to rank Zelda and Chrono Trigger 1 and 2, so I’m surprised that it is so far down on this list.
do your research on the game and on other future post before you comment on what you know nothing about paintball calls for alot of discipline and patience use your computer for something other than leaving dumb comments (research dumb)
wow, some people here seriously need to …
GET A LIFE !
@Brae Hah: go on and ask dborth what he think about the idea, I bet he’s going to laugh at you, just as I do now… ahahaha
I know it’s hard to understand for you but there is a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE between doing emulator menu modifications (even at a compulsory rate) and writing a dynarec or optimizing an emulator from scratch
