Bluboo D6 Pro is an entry-level smartphone and as such come with entry levels specifications which I must say is pretty impressive compared to other devices at a price point of $79.

The device which is an upgrade to the Bluboo D6, comes with a dual-camera setup, a fingerprint sensor and face Unlock for biometric authentications and Dual 4G LTE just to name a few. Let’s get right down the ins and outs of this device.

Bluboo D6 Pro Design And Display

Bluboo D6 Pro’s Design is pretty simple. Its body is made with metallic organic material with Nano coating. The fingerprint sensor sits comfortably at the centre of the back along with the dual camera setups placed at the top left side and an LED flash just beside it.

Also, the device measures just 7.6mm in thickness weighs just 159.6 grams and comes in colours Red, Black and Blue. Turning to the front we are greeted with the 5.5-inch HD+ display with a BOE 2.5D curved glass on top for protection. The top bezel houses the single front-facing camera, speaker grill and proximity sensor.

Bluboo D6 Pro Camera Review

The device has a total of three cameras; two at the back and one up front for selfies. The rear cameras comprise of a main 8MP camera and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, Auto Focus and an LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 720p videos at 30fps. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is a 5MP camera with f/2.8 aperture, Autofocus and no LED flash. However, it can still record 720p videos at 30fps.

The SoC here is a MediaTek MT6739V which has a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU for graphics/Gaming. For multitasking, there is a 2GB of RAM which is paired with 16GB of expandable inbuilt storage for files.

The storage can be expanded further via the dedicated MicroSD card slot available. Android 8.1 Oreo runs on the device out of the box with Bluboo’s Skin on top. The device is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock as the biometric security options which can both unlock the device under a second.

Battery & Network Connectivity

The 2,700mAh battery on this device comes with a 5V/1.5A fast charging which isn’t the fastest charging technology out there but will get the job done, giving you more than an hour of music playback with just a 5 minutes charge. It also has Dual 4G VoLTE for the two SIM slots and Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. A microUSB port is also available for charging and file transfer which supports USB On The Go.
