CAMON 18, CAMON 18P, and 18 Premier price and specs in Nigeria

The TECNO CAMON 18 series are Android-powered smartphones released by TECNO Mobile as successors to the CAMON 17. Just like the CAMON 16 series, TECNO brings back the “Premier” nomenclature and there are three smartphones in this series-the CAMON 18 which is the base model, the CAMON 18P, and the CAMON 18 Premier.

This year, there is no “Pro” model unlike the CAMON 17 Series but does the CAMON 18 brings a significant improvement over the CAMON 17? Well, there are a couple of upgrades here and there some downgrades as well.

In terms of the camera, the CAMON 18 Series debuts with a gimbal video camera with inbuilt stabilization, an improved 64MP rear camera, and a 13MP telephoto lens.

In the battery department, the CAMON 18 Premier comes with a 4750mAh battery which charges via its 33W fast charging, while the CAMON 17 Pro is powered with a 5000mAh with the same 33W fast charging. However, we can’t say this is a downgrade as the CAMON 18 Premier uses an AMOLED screen which is more power-friendly compared to the CAMON 17 Pro IPS screen.

The other models in the CAMON 18 line are powered by a 5000mAh battery and they all use an IPS screen.

CAMON 18, CAMON 18P and 18 Premier price in Nigeria

TECNO during its media launch in Lagos Nigeria introduced the CAMON 18 series into the Nigerian market. According to the brand, the CAMON 18 will set you back ₦102,000 Naira, the CAMON 18P will retail for ₦128,000 while the CAMON 18 Premier costs ₦182,000. The CAMON 18 Premier will be available first at SLOT from October 7 to October 20th, 2021 before it will be available nationwide. The other versions-Camon 18 and Camon 18P will be for purchase starting from the first week of November 2021.
