Pick up your phone and dial *737*6*1# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts, your GTbank account balance will display on your phone.
Take note of this, you must use the phone number that you registered with when opening your GTBank account. Sending the balance enquiry message with any other phone numbers will not work.

Another way you can check your GTB account balance is by sending a text message in this format, text balance (space) account number to  08076665555

e.g if your account number is 0083539899, you will send the message in this format,  Bal 0083539899 to 08076665555, then wait for the reply.

If no problem from both parties, you should receive your account balance on your phone if there is no network problem
