Comio X1 was launched in India a couple of weeks ago as the company’s latest instalment to the X series which focuses on those on a budget.
The X1 sports a rather attractive 18:9 full view display for a fuller immersive visual experience. The device comes loaded with 4G VoLTE and supports the trendy Face Unlock feature as well.

Design And Display
The Comio X1 has a Plastic back with Metalic touches. Overall, the device looks attractive for a smartphone with a Plastic back cover.
At the top middle, we can see the rear features, like the rear camera with its own space. There’s a LED flash beside it and a fingerprint scanner underneath. Furthermore, it measures 8.3mm in thickness and it’s easy to hold.
The phone was built around a tall 18:9 full view display. There is no narrow bezels insight as Comio made sure the screen stretches all the way to the sides. Furthermore, the usual features are seen at the top. It sports a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 293 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 80.02% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Comio X1 is powered by the MT6739WA chip from MediaTek. This comes with a quad-core processor that has a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Controlling graphics is the PowerVR GE8100 graphics processor.
As expected, it comes with just 2GB RAM space for multitasking through light apps. While in the storage department, there’s the standard 16GB storage space, which can be upgraded up to 128GB. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo as well.
Camera, Network And Connectivity
The phone carries a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 76.4° wide-angle lens. There’s an AI-powered 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and Face Unlock feature as well
The Comio X1 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs and a microSD card. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
Battery, Price And Availability
The Comio X1 is powered by a non-removable 3050mAh battery with no fast charging technology. Comio X1 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $109 to $129, that’s about (N40,000 – N45,000).
