Social media giant company, Facebook have now entered into the dating market. The company launches its new dating platform called “Dating”.
There are couples of dating apps available in the market currently which the new app will be competing with
Signing up is pretty easy on Dating for Facebook users. Recommended people on the “Dating” platform will be suggested to you, just like how Facebook works. You’re free to message or like anybody’s profile. But in order to prevent you from bugging, disturbing or stalking people, Facebook has a list of features put in place.
Stories are a norm now on social media and Dating joins the gang. You can upload stories (either picture or video) to your profile or import the ones you upload on Facebook.
By the end of the year, you’ll be able to import from Instagram. This Dating platform is set to rival the likes of Tinder when it comes to online dating.
There is a feature called “Secret Crush” on Dating, this feature allows you to add people you have a crush on to a list. The person will get a notification that they have been added to your Secret Crush list. I wonder what’s the secret if the person gets a notification about the so-called ‘secret’ crush list.
