Facebook has finally introduced a dislike button on its platform. This came after series of calls from users that a dislike button should be embedded on the social media network.
The most anticipated feature has been rolled out but it is available only to limited users. The rolling out of the Facebook dislike feature is done on the Messenger App as against its most popular social network: Facebook. Meanwhile, many users have started reacting while the rolling out was done cross-platform. They argue that the Facebook dislike Button on only Messenger app will limit the number of people that will have access to the feature.
Facebook introduced reactions some months ago without the Facebook dislike button. This elicited lots of calls for its introductions on Facebook. However, Facebook has said that the dislike button on Messenger is only serving testing phase of the new feature.
According to TechCrunch, Facebook said: “We’re always testing ways to make Messenger more fun and engaging. This is a small test where we enable people to share an emoji that best represents their feelings on a message.”
