It becomes much easier if you’ve their phone number which they used in registering the Instagram account.
Below is how to search and find people on Instagram using phone numbers;
- Make sure you save the phone number in your contacts book.
- Now open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
- From the menu at the bottom right corner, click on the profile icon to go to your profile.
- Click on the hamburger menu icon at the top right side of your screen.
- From the menu, select “Discover people”.
- Make sure your contacts book is synced with your Instagram account.
- Here, Instagram will show you every phone number on your contacts book that is registered with the platform.
- Scroll through the list to see whom you’re looking for.
It is important to note that this method will only work when you have the phone number saved and if the number is actually linked or registered to the Instagram account. Another alternative to look for someone on Instagram is via Facebook. Instagram is owned by Facebook via acquisitions in 2012.
