Gionee is to launch another battery Monster phone codenamed Gionee M6S Plus from the Marathon Series comes April 24, 2017. The Gionee M5 Plus and M6 and M6 Plus were successful due to their huge and long-lasting. The new Gionee M6S Plus doesn’t come fully with specs upgrade when compared with the M6 Plus except for the massive 6GB of RAM it has been bundled with.

Display and Design
The phone sports a massive 6.0-inch screen with super clear AMOLED display which of Full HD resolution ( 1080 * 1920). The massive display is covered by 2.5D Glass protection instead of the usual Corny Gorilla glass.
Processor and Storage
Gionee M6S Plus is blessed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor having a maximum clock speed of 2.0 bundled with a huge 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There will be another variant of the phone with 128GB of ROM and expandable further to 128GB via a MicroSdcard.
Camera
In the camera side of thing, Gionee M6S Plus is fitted with 12MP back camera and 8MP front facing camera. Compared to the M6 Plus which has a 16MP rear snapper, it is a downgrade. There is no information on the type of Sensor Gionee is deploying on the phone but we hope it will be a capable one since Megapixel doesn’t determine the quality of a camera.
Software and Hardware
The Phone is rumored to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of Gionee’s own Amigo UI 3.5 which is already becoming an old operating system. The Android 7.1 Nougat is the recent OS from Google and have been used on recent mobile phone releases. It has a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back of the phone for security and will also come with Gionee Ten- layer Security chips.
Connectivity
Gionee M6S Plus is a dual SIM enabled device with support for 4G and 4G VOLTE. Connectivity options on the phone include blutooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type C, 3.5mm audo jack, WIFI, Hotspot ang infra-Red Blister.
Battery
The phone is powered by a beastly 6020mAh battery which should be able to last for up to 2 days on heavy usage, Gionee Marathon series are known for long-lasting battery and is no surprise Gionee has bundled the phone with this huge battery.
