Gionee M7 Power Review
For those that need great battery phone, Gionee M7 Power is a fantastic bezel-less phone with a lot of battery juice. Like its name suggests, the smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery. According to Gionee, you can use the device heavily for two days once the battery is full. Apart from the battery, the M7 Power also packs a powerful Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 chipset with 4GB of RAM. Another notable feature is the bezel-less screen, well that might not be as bezel-less as the iPhone X. But I think Gionee will get there someday.
GIONEE M7 POWER DESIGN
The Gionee M7 Power looks like the first M7, having a metal finish and the fingerprint sensor mounted at the back. Also, M7 Power comes in very beautiful colours to choose from, there’s Blue, Black and Gold. Most bezel-less smartphones are typically ultra-slim and light, but the Gionee M7 isn’t one of them. It measures 156.3 x 75.6 x 8.6 mm in dimension and weighs 187g. Heavy right?

Gionee M7 Power sports a 6.0-inch bezel-less IPS LCD HD+ capacitive touchscreen. It has 78.6% screen-to-body ratio and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Offering a viewing experience you wouldn’t forget in a while. Its 268 pixel per inch density just brings object on the screen back to life.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Its name is Power, and it sure doesn’t disappoint when it comes to processing and running the device. It houses the Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 chipset, and Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. Complimented with 4GB of RAM for seamless multitasking and launching of heavy apps. In terms of storage, there’s 64GB internal storage upgradeable to 256GB with microSD. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Amigo 5.0 skin on top.

Gionee ditched the dual rear cameras on the M7. As the M7 Power sports just a single rear camera, this might not be wise but maybe their fans don’t like it. The 13MP rear camera on the Gionee M7 Power offers amazing photography. There’s also an 8MP selfie shooter for your daily selfies.
BATTERY
Its powerful and so is the battery! The M7 Power is powered by a 5000mAh Non-removable battery. Its uncertain if it has fast charging feature, it will be a bummer if it doesn’t.

Gionee M7 Power is available for Pre-Order for just $279, that’s about N105,000 – N120,000.
