Gionee ended their 7 months phone drought with the release of the Gionee F9 Plus a few weeks ago. The company are back again with another budget device called “Gionee X2”. The device succeeds the Gionee X1 which was released back in August 2017. Let’s take a look at the Gionee X2 specs and price in Nigeria.

Design
The Gionee X2 comes in a regular waterdrop screen with bottom chin and a gradient body finish. The dual rear camera with LED flash is enclosed in a vertical module at the top left corner. At the top middle is a fingerprint reader which Gionee claims is highly responsive and convenient to use. The reader can also be used in taking photographs.
Display
The device features a 6.09-inch IPS HD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio making it ideal for playing games and watching videos. For a budget device, the display isn’t that bad and offers a more vivid and exquisite display effect.
Hardware and Software
Underneath the Gionee budget phone is MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The chip features a Quad-Core processor, which should process basic phone functions.
Camera
The camera department of the Gionee X2 is quite impressive considering its price range. At the rear, is two 13MP camera sensors for taking stunning photos and recording quality videos. Upfront, the Gionee X2 sports an 8MP selfie camera.
Battery
Battery life is one of the attracting features of the Gionee X2. The budget device packs a non-removable Li-Ion 4,000 mAh battery. However, there is no word if it supports fast battery charging.
