⚫Go to “Access Settings” on your Pixel smartphone, select “Screen Mirroring”.
⚫Voila! The screen of the Pixel smartphone will appear on the TV.

There are actually two ways to connect your Pixel phones to your TV using a wireless connection. Two different ways for Rooted devices and Non-rooted devices.

How To Connect A Rooted Pixel Phone To TV

If you are using a rooted Pixel phone, simply connect to your TV using Miracast. Miracast only works with Rooted devices, the wireless HDMI lets a device display its screen on a TV wireless. Miracast doesn’t need an Internet connection to connect your Pixel phone to your TV. You can use Amazon Fire TV box, Roku or a Miracast Video Adapter if your TV doesn’t support it.

To enable Miracast on your phone, follow these easy steps to edit the build.prop file. Please keep in mind that Miracast only works on Android 6.0 or older.

⚫Change property name to “persist.debug.wfd.enable” also change a value to “1”.

For non-rooted Pixel phones, simply follow these easy steps after getting the Chromecast hardware here.

⚫The Chromecast and Pixel phone must be connected to the same WiFi.
⚫Connect to your TV and install Cast application, the icon for the cast app should appear thereafter.
⚫Also, download and install Chromecast app on your Pixel smartphone.
⚫Completely set it up on the Pixel smartphone using the Wizard
⚫Open any app that supports Chromecast, tap the Cast button and Voila.
