How to Find Wi-Fi Password on iPhone Through Router Settings

You can find out the WiFi password of your WiFi network by going through your router settings as the admin. To do this, simply follow the steps below.

  1. Access the admin page of your router which is usually in a form of an IP address and requires a username and password. If you don’t know the IP address to access, simply navigate to Settings >> WiFi then find the WiFi name you would like to know it’s password and Click the “i” icon next to it. It should bring up a lot of details about the WiFi network including the IP address. Now copy the IP address and paste it in your Safari browser or any other browser you have.
  2. Once the page loads, you’ll be prompted to enter your username and password which is usually “admin” as the username and also “admin” as the password for most routers if you haven’t changed it. Alternatively, you can search online for “default password for (your router name) router model” if you haven’t changed the username and password and admin doesn’t work.
  3. After Logging into your router admin page, navigate to the “wireless settings” to see the iPhone WiFi password.

Note: if you don’t own the WiFi router or someone else has changed the admin username and password then this method won’t work for you. See the second or third step.
