How To Show Battery Percentage on iPhone 11 Pro

The successor to the previous iPhone trio just got unveiled by Apple namely the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

Now, all three smartphones are spotting the huge notch present in their predecessors which presents kind of a challenge in knowing exactly what percentage your battery is at.

So in this article, we will be walking you through the process of how to show battery percentage on the new iPhone 11 Pro.

Where did the battery percentage on iPhone 11 Pro go?

The notch on the iPhone 11 Pro houses a bunch of sensors for facial recognition and a front-facing camera which means it takes up quite a chunk of the phone’s display. This leaves the top part of the display with just two little parts on each side of the notch for things like the WiFi icon, network bar, time etc.

Now, with the notch up there, some changes had to be made in order to be able to fit the important things up there.

Unfortunately, the battery percentage was among the things that had to leave. Actually, it didn’t. It was moved to your control center leaving only the battery bar at the top right of the display.

You can still see your battery percentage whenever you want but it will require a little bit of work from you.

All you have to do is follow the steps below to do just that.

  1. Swipe down from the top right side of the display beside the notch. (You can do this from anywhere)
  2. This should take you to the control center where you get to see your battery percentage at the usual spot; top right corner of your display.
  3. Once you’ve seen the battery percentage, you can just swipe back up to dismiss the control center and return to what you were doing.

That’s pretty much how to show battery percentage on iPhone 11 Pro. Also, you can swipe down halfway and as soon as you get a glimpse of the battery percentage

. Kind of how you do when you want to read a preview of notification or just check the notifications you have.

Can I make the battery show on the home screen?

Unfortunately, you can’t do that as the top parts of your phone display beside the notch are pretty filled up with other necessities. Also, there is no option in the settings menu to that, just in case you’ve gone through the settings menu looking for that.

However, the battery percentage does come up on your home screen whenever you’re charging the phone.

Unfortunately again, it goes away immediately you unplug your phone and you’ll have to rely on the bar that gives a rough estimate or swipe down the control center to know the exact percentage of the battery.

Hopefully, the next iPhones comes with am edge-to-edge display and see the return of the battery percentage in its usual spot.
