WhatsApp’s Reactions feature is now available to all users. The news comes almost two weeks after the feature was announced by the Meta-owned app. The most recent update will be available to all users. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, made the announcement on his official Facebook page.

In his post he said, “Reactions on WhatsApp start rolling out today “. He further added, “We’re including to help spread thanks and appreciation. More expressions coming soon.”

In April, WhatsApp announced a slew of new features that would be coming to the app soon. This included the Communities feature as well as the ability to have multiple people in a WhatsApp voice call. One of the features announced last month was the Reactions feature. Users will be able to respond more quickly to single messages thanks to this feature. Users previously had to type an emoji to respond to a message, but now they can do so instantly by simply tapping and holding the message they want to respond to.

How To Use WhatsApp Reactions Feature

  • To begin, open any chat you wish to respond to.
  • Hold down the message you want to respond to.
  • A pop-up with six different emojis will appear as soon as you do so.
  • All you have to do is drag your thumb/finger to the desired emoji and leave it there.
  • You’ll then see the reaction to that particular message.
