At the back of the device are two cameras lined up vertically with the LED flash just underneath. There is no fingerprint sensor here as the device lacks that. It weighs about 168 grams and measures 8.1 mm in thickness. Colours options available are black and Gradient Aurora – Blue, Red and Purple.

Huawei Enjoy 9 Camera Review

Huawei Enjoy 9 has one less camera than the Enjoy 9 Plus. It has just three in total; one at the front and two at the back. The one at the front is a single 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, HDR and 1080p video recording capabilities but only at 30fps. The dual rear camera consist of the a 13MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF and a secondary 2MP depth sensor camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera also has an LED flash, HDR, Panorama and of course, can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Huawei Enjoy 9 Hardware and Software

There is no Kirin Chipset as seen in the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus, instead, Huawei went with the Snapdragon 450 chipset which has 8 cores and a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz. This is paired with an Adreno 506 GPU for gaming. Huawei Enjoy 9 comes in two configurations; a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB of internal storage and a 4GB RAM variant that comes with 64GB of internal storage.

Both configurations come with an option to expand the storage even further through the dedicated MicroSD card slot, up to 512GB. As usual, there is the Huawei’s own EMUI 8.2 which runs on the device out of the box, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Battery & Network Connectivity

The Battery stayed the same with it’s sibling at 4,000mAh with a 10W fast charging for quick refills. The device lacks a fingerprint sensor and NFC but has 4G LTE, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port with support for USB On The Go.
