Huawei Honor 7s has a 5.45-inch display, 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution with 295ppi and an 18:9 aspect ratio while Tecno Spark 2, on the other hand, has a bigger 6.2-inch display, 720 x 1500 pixels screen resolution with 267ppi and also an 18:9 aspect ratio. Both devices are made of plastic which is normal at this price point.
There are also two cameras each on both devices, one at the back and one at the front. Huawei Honor 7s weighs 142g and measures 8.3mm in thickness while Tecno Spark 2, which is a slightly bigger device weight 150g and measures the same thickness at 8.3mm. Colours available for Tecno Spark 2 includes Blue, Black and Grey while the colour options for Huawei Y5 Prime are Blue, Gold and Black.
Huawei Honor 7s Vs TECNO Spark 2 – Hardware & Software
Inside both device is a MediaTek Chipset. On the Huawei Honor 7s, is a MediaTek MT6739 which is a Quad-core Soc having a clock speed of up to 1.5GHz paired with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU. Tecno Spark 2 on the outer hand has a MediaTek 6580W Quad-core Processor but clocked at a 1.3GHz paired with a Mali-400MP2 GPU. Looking at both, the Huawei Honor 7s has a better Soc compared to the Spark 2.
Huawei Honor 7s has 2GB of RAM, same as the Spark 2. They both have 16GB of Internal storage with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. They both have a dual Nano SIM slot.
Both devices are rocking the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with their respective skins on top.
Camera, Battery & Connectivity
There is nothing spectacular in the camera department with both devices having just two cameras each – one up top and one at the back. For the Huawei Honor 7s , there is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 and a dual-LED dual tone flash which can record 1080p videos at 30fps. For selfies, there is a single 5MP camera with LED flash. Moving on the Tecno Spark 2 is also a 13MP at the back with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, also with an LED flash.
The Huawei Honor 7s is powered by a 3,020mAh while a bigger 3,500mAh powers the Tecno Spark 2. Both devices are equipped with 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi Hotspot and a Micro USB port with USB On The Go. However, Only Tecno Spark 2 has a fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back of the device.
Huawei Honor 7s Vs TECNO Spark 2 – Price
