Huawei Honor 9 Lite Review
The Huawei Honor 9 Lite which is expected to be available December 26, 2017, has been officially unveiled. The device is the affordable version of the popular Honor 9 smartphone. As a new device, the Honor 9 Lite comes with the latest Emotion UI and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Huawei Honor 9 Lite DESIGN
Such a beauty, the Honor 9 Lite is classy and sleek with four cameras. The device was mainly designed with an aluminium frame, featuring both back and front glass.
It is dual sim compatible and accepts only Nano sim cards. The slim device measures 7.6mm slim and weigh 149g, it is available in Navy, Seagull Gray, Magic Nightfall and Pearl White. The fingerprint scanner was mounted at the back for easy access and unlocks the device in 0.1s.
Huawei Honor 9 Lite DISPLAY
The smartphone boasts of a 5.65-inch IPS LCD HD+ capacitive touchscreen with screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Its bezel-less with no actual side bezels, sensors and the dual camera are situated at the upper bezel. The bezel below is really annoying, there’s nothing there just the logo.
Huawei achieved a 75.5% screen-to-body ratio on the device. With a 428 ppi density, be ready to enjoy sharp visuals on this midrange device. Turn the smartphone around for a taller and broader viewing experience.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset, clocking at 2.36 GHz Octa-core processor. Its graphics processing unit is the Mali-T830 MP2, and with 3/4GB RAM variant, no worries about a slow phone. In terms of internal storage space, there’s a version with 64GB and the other with 32GB. Although both are upgradeable to 256GB using microSD. Huawei Honor 9 Lite runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0 skin on top.

At the back, you can spot the 13MP + 2MP dual camera with phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama.
