Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 is a new smartphone from Huawei and can be said to be a successor and kind of a reboot to the 2015 Huawei Y6 Pro. The Huawei Y6 2019 is still very much a budget smartphone but comes with some pretty interesting specifications. There is the full screen display with a water drop notch, a Quad-Core Hello A22 SoC, has a decent 3,020mAh battery capacity and runs the latest Android Operating System – Android 9.0 Pie – out of the box, with Huawei’s EMUI on top of course. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 Design And Display
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 has a massive 6.09-inch IPS LCD display with a 720p screen resolution, 282 pixels per inch density and a 19:9 aspect ratio with a water drop notch at the top for the front-facing camera. It also has an indicator light, speaker grill, Ambient light and Proximity sensor slightly above the notch and a hidden selfie toning flash2.0 toward the right side of the really slim top bezel.
There is also a chin at the bottom with Huawei name on top. At the back is a single camera set up at the top left side lined up vertically with an LED flash just below the camera and no fingerprint sensor in sight. The only biometric authentication/verification method here is the Face ID. The body of the device is made of plastic which is expected at this price point, however, it does have glass on top of the display for protection. It weighs 150 grams, measures 8mm in thickness and comes in two colours; Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. This device also has three slots; Dual Nano SIM slot and a microSD card for storage expansion.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 Camera Review
The cameras on the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 are pretty decent. A Single 13MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF takes cares of rear photography which comes equipped with an LED flash, HDR and Panorama with 1080p video recording support at 30fps. For selfies, this device has a single 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The selfie camera is also capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.

At the heart of this device is the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC; a 12nm Chipset with a Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz alongside a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that can be expanded via the dedicated MicroSD card slot, up to 512GB. This device runs Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 out of the box which is based on Android 9.0 Pie Operating System.
