Infinix Hot 6 Pro Price and Detailed Specifications Review

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro will be launched alongside the Hot 6 budget smartphone from Infinix. The Mobile phone giant has been teasing the upcoming device on their page on Facebook and if everything goes as planned, the Infinix Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro will be unveiled in the month of May 2018.

The Hot 6 Pro will come with improved features than it’s little brother, including bigger internal storage space and RAM size. The device is expected to follow the trend of full view smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio.

This is coming just months after the Hot S3 midrange device was launched in Nigeria. The Hot 6 Pro packs dual rear camera, houses a Snapdragon chip, a Quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the Box

Design and Display

According to the picture below, the Infinix Hot 6 Pro will retain the polycarbonate design and is expected to be lightweight as well.

The first thing you would notice at the rear is the dual rear cameras which definitely adds to the beauty of the device.

Besides the dual shooters lies the dual-LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner sits in its usual position. Turning over to the sides, it measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 158g just like how Infinix makes them. It should be available in Red, Gold, Black and Blue colours.

This is not the first Hot smartphone with the bezel-less trend, the Hot S3 comes with the feature. But this is the first from the Hot budget series, its 18:9 aspect ratio screen will definitely delight users.

The bigger 6.0-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen here has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It also has a pixel per inch density of 282, making details on the screen sharp enough as well.

Infinix Hot 6 Performance

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm with a faster 4-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The processor here reaches a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and the Adreno 308 graphics processor from Qualcomm takes care of graphics.

Unlike the Hot 6, the Pro variant comes with 3GB RAM for a smooth multitasking experience of heavy apps. While for storing files, the storage space has been expanded further to 32GB. But if you need more space, then using a memory will be ideal as you can upgrade up to 128GB. The Hot 6 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with XOS 3.0 Hummingbird.

Infinix Hot 6 Camera

The device comes with dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooter. The 13MP sensor is the main camera while the 2MP will assist in Portrait mode, even though this might not be as great like on most flagships. Nonetheless, it comes with other quality features you can use to beautify your photography, there’s a dual-LED flash for night photography as well.

Easily record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. At the top bezel, the 5MP selfie camera is ready for all your selfie needs. There’s a front LED flash as well for night selfies and video calls.

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology (Quick charge 3.0). The hot 6 price in Nigeria is around N40,000-N45,000.
