Infinix Hot 7 Design And Display

Infinix Hot 7

The Hot 7 has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution which uses the new 19:9 aspect ratio with a bathtub notch at the top where the front facing camera, LED flash and other sensors are located. The body of the device is made of plastic, the same with its predecessor given that it is a budget device. Colour options available here are Black, Purple and Gold. Just like other devices in the Hot Series, this also has a Dual SIM slot and a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

Infinix Hot 7 Camera Review

There is a single 13MP camera at the back with an f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash for low light shots. An 8MP camera sits at the front with am an f/2.2 aperture that takes care of all your selfie needs.

Hot 7 Hardware and Software

The brain behind this device is MediaTek’s MT6580P SoC which is a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with an ARM Mali GPU. It comes with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM, both of which come with 16GB of internal storage. Given that the 1GB RAM variant won’t be able to run Android 8.1 Oreo, it might ship with the Go Edition of the Android Operating System while the 2GB variant ships with the standard Android 8.1 Oreo. Nevertheless, they’ll both have Infinix’s XOS 4.0 Honeybee UI slapped on top.

Battery & Network Connectivity

Infinix Hot 7 has a 4,000mAh which doesn’t have fast battery charging. It also doesn’t have 4G LTE however, it has Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, GPS, 3.5mm jack and micro USB port for charging and file transfer.

Infinix Hot 7 Price and Availability

No Offical pricing yet but expected price currently hovers between $99 – $119 but I guess we’ll have to wait till it hit the shelves before we know for sure.
