The Infinix Hot S3X has been teased and slightly announced by Infinix Mobility on Social Media. The smartphone is an upgrade to the Hot S3 smartphone. This is the first smartphone from Infinix with the trending notched screen.
It sports a taller 6.2-inch HD+ display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Unlike the Hot S3, the X version is equipped with a dual rear camera and powered by the usual 4000mAh battery. It is more of an improved Infinix Hot 6 Pro as well.

Design And Display
The Hot S3X is built with a Plastic-like body that reflects light beautifully just like we saw on the Note 5. However, the dual rear cameras are now in a vertical format at the top left corner just like the Smart 2 Pro.
Of course, the fingerprint scanner sits in its usual position with the Infinix logo coming underneath. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 150g overall. It will be available in Black, Blue and Grey colours.

Even after a lot of people thought Tecno would beat Infinix to the notch after the former introduced the full view display first. Well, the Hot S3X comes with the notch, beating Tecno in that department.
With the notch, it’s equipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. This has a resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels and 267 pixels per inch density. The screen stretches up to 81% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, there’s a low-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip with its older 28nm process node. Nonetheless, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.4GHz tops. While the Adreno 505 graphics card handles graphics.
As expected, there’s a version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage space. This should handle your heavy multitasking and playing games. The Hot S3X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with XOS 3.0.
Camera, Network And Connectivity
The new device boasts dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters with f/2.0 aperture and comes with a LED flash underneath. For selfies, there’s an AI-powered 16MP selfie camera with beautify technology on the notch.

The Infinix Hot S3X is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Infinix Hot S3X will be available on shopping stores, starting from $179 to $199, that’s about (N60,000 – N70,000).
