Infinix Hot S4 Price, Detailed Specifications & Review

Infinix S4 smartphone is the latest addition to the S-Series and it has been launched in Nigeria soon as the successor to the Infinix Hot S3.

The Infinix S4 comes with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It also features a MediaTek Helio P22 and triple camera setup. It has up to 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, runs Android 9.0 Pie and has a hefty 4,000mAh battery keeping the lights on.

Design And Display

Infinix Hot S4 features a massive 6.26-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and water drop notch at the top housing the front-facing camera and a minimal bezel all around except for the slightly thicker chin at the bottom.

The back which is made of glass is packed with triple camera setup, an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor for biometric verification. Colour options available for the Infinix S4 are Red and Blue. It also has a dual SIM slot as well as a dedicated MicroSD card for additional storage.

Infinix S4 Camera Review

At the back of the Infinix S4 is a triple camera setup consisting of a main 13MP shooter, a secondary 2MP camera and lastly, an 8MP wide-angle camera.

The cameras are equipped with a Quad-LED flash for low light shots and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

The single front-facing 32MP camera sitting in the waterdrop notch is equipped with an AI for better selfies and can also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. It can also be used for Face Unlock a.k.a FaceID.

Hardware and Software

The MediaTek Helio P22 SoC sits at the centre of this device. It is a Four-core processor having a clocking speed of up to 2.0GHz and an ‎IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU responsible for gaming. This is hooked up to either 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM with two storage options – 32GB or 64GB.

Regardless of the storage space, it can be expanded further thanks to the dedicated MicroSD card on board which can accommodate up to 128GB of additional storage. Infinix S4 runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Infinix’s custom UI on top of that – XOS Honeybee 4.0

Battery & Network Connectivity

A 4,000mAh battery powers the Infinix S4 with fast charging support. It also has 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, a 3.5mm jack, FM Radio and a micro USB port through which charging and file transfer are done.

Infinix S4 Price and Availability

The Infinix S4 is now available in Nigeria at the price of N49,900 for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage version. The Pro version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will cost N64,500
