Infinix S5 Pro is officially launched in Nigeria with 40MP Pop-up Camera

Infinix S5 Pro is officially launched in Nigeria. The pro version of the Infinix S5 comes with a 6.53″ FHD+ full screen for super clarity and zero distractions. The display’s resolution is 1080 x 2340 with 403 pixels per inch density. The Infinix S5 Pro shared some striking similarities with the recently launched TECNO Camon 15 Premier in terms of specs and design as both devices come with Pop up a camera and Helio P35 chipset. The Helio P35 Soc is the same processor found on the TECNO Phantom 9 released last year.

One of the key highlights of the Infinix smartphone is its 40MP AI selfie camera which is housed inside a pop-up mechanism at the top of the device. On the back is an AI triple camera module that features a 48MP f/1.8 main lens, a 2MP depth lens, and a QVGA lens for low-light shots. There is also a dual-LED flash inside the module which aids in taking a brighter picture in low-light conditions. Both the pop-up selfie camera and main camera supports a 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second.

Powering the Infinix S5 Pro is the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with 2.3GHz processor. The chip is entwined with a 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM. Battery-wise, it packs a 4,000 mAh capacity and supports 10W SuperCharge technology from Infinix also known as “X-Charge”. According to the company, you can get up to 3-days of battery usage, which is highly debatable in my opinion. For graphics, this chipset is equipped with a PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit. The smartphone is based on Android 10 operating system with XOS 6 skin promising faster, interactive and intuitive user experience.

The Infinix S5 Pro is available for pre-order in the Nigeria market with the 4/64GB priced at N66,200 and the 6/128GB version priced at N80,500. The first 100 customers to pre-order any of the two versions will get the XE09 Infinix Bluetooth Earphone. You’ll also enjoy delivery priority when it begins. Due to the on-going Covid-19 situation in the country, the delivery has been delayed until further notice. The body colour options available for purchase are Luzern Green, Purple, and Ice Blue.
