The Infinix S6 body build is a simple front glass and plastic unibody. There is no fingerprint reader meaning you’ll have to rely on the device’s Face ID system for biometric security. The backside of the phone features just the camera module with both the Infinix and S-series branding. The front side houses just the display as the selfie camera is moved to the top side and uses a motorized pop-up mechanism. The Infinix S6 comes in four amazing body colours – Mineral Blue, Mystic Purple, Peach Pink, and Peacock Blue.

The S6 is built around a 6.59-inch IPS LCD panel which has an 86.4% screen-to-body ratio. The display features a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with 268 pixels per inch density. The touchscreen can take up to five fingers simultaneously.

Hardware and Software

Powering the Infinix S6 is the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset built on a 12nm technology. The chipset features a PowerVR GE8320 for graphics and an Octa-core processor clocking 2.3GHz speed. There are two memory configuration options to choose here – 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. You also get a dedicated microSD slot for additional storage. Running inside the S6 is Infinix XOS 5 custom skin based on Android 9 operating system.

The camera module at the back of the Infinix S6 sports four cameras – a 48MP main lens, a 5MP ultrawide lens with 120° FoV, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. The camera setup can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps and has a single LED flash. The motorized pop-up mechanism brings out a 32MP camera when you switch to the front in the camera app. This camera supports Face ID and features HDR and 6-level AI face beauty.

The battery capacity inside the Infinix S6 is 4,500 mAh and it supports an 18W fast charging technology.
