Infinix Smart 2 HD is the latest addition to the Smart line up which includes the Infinix Smart 2 and Smart 2 Pro. The new Infinix Smart 2 HD packs a slightly bigger display when compared to its other two siblings hence the name HD; Higher Definition. Infinix Smart 2 HD Design And Display

Unlike the 5.5-inch display on the Infinix Smart 2 and Smart 2 Pro, The Infinix Smart 2 HD features a 6.0-inch display with 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution with 268ppi and an 18:9 aspect ratio. At the top bezels is the single selfie camera with LED flash which can also be used to Unlock the device via Face Unlock.

Turning over to the back is yet another single-camera setup with Dual-LED flash and a fingerprint sensor at the usual spot down below. Colours options available for the device includes Black, Gold and Blue.

There are two cameras on the Infinix smart 2 HD; One at the back and another at the front. The one at the back is a single 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash which can record 1080p videos at 30fps. We also have a similar 8MP camera at the front for selfies with f/2.0 aperture with an LED flash which can also be used for Face Unlock.

Infinix Smart 2 HD Hardware and Software

Running the show is a MediaTek MT6580A Chipset with four cores and a clock speed of 1.3GHz with Mali-400MP2 for gaming/graphics. For multitasking, the device has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The Storage space is expandable via the onboard MicroSD card slot of up to 128GB, just in case if you need more storage space. As for the operating system, Android 8.1 Oreo runs on the device out of the box with Infinix XOS User Interface.

Battery & Network Connectivity

The 3,500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery on this device does not have fast charging and there is not 4G LTE connectivity or NFC. However, there is WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, Fingerprint Sensor, Face Unlock and a Micro USB port which supports USB On The Go.
