Apple recently refreshed its smartphone lineup with three new devices-The iPhone 11, 11 Pro and the 11 Pro max.
We will be taking a look at the specifications as well as the price of the iPhone 11 Pro in Nigeria.
The iPhone 11 Pro is like the middle ground between the standard iPhone 11 and the 11 Pro max.
So just like its predecessor, it has a 5.8-inch display with a gigantic notch. There is a triple camera setup at the back. One at the front and Apple’s brand new A13 Bionic chipset on the inside. A 3,046mAh battery powers this device and comes with support for fast charging.

Design And Display
iPhone 11 Pro has a similar design to its predecessor. The front and back are made from scratch-resistant glass with oleophobic coating and a metal frame.
As for the display, it spots a 5.8-inch display with a bathtub notch which Apple calls a “Super Retina XDR OLED”.
The display packs quite a ton of features which include Dolby Vision, HDR10, True-tone and 120Hz touch sensing.
Turning over to the back reveals the triple camera setup placed in a square-shaped camera bump.
The glassy camera bump also has the LED flash sitting at the top right corner. Just like its predecessor, there is also no fingerprint sensor here and you have the faceID as the only form of biometric unlock. You also have the usual buttons and slider.
Overall, the device weighs 188grams and measures 8.1mm in thickness.
Colour options available for this device include Space Gray, Silver, Gold and Midnight Green. It also supports dual SIM; a nano-SIM and an e-SIM.
Camera
iPhone 11 Pro has an extra camera compared to its predecessor. The rear camera here comprises of a 12MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF and OIS. Another 12MP telephoto camera with an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS and 2x optical zoom. Lastly, we have yet another 12MP ultra-wide camera with am f/2.4 aperture.
The rear camera has a Quad-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, Panorama and a ton of other camera features. It can also shoot 4k videos at 24/30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps in HDR and with stereo sound.
As for selfies, there is a 12MP wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture accompanied by a TOF 3D camera in the notch for the job. This selfie camera also supports HDR, has gyro-EIS and can shoot the same videos as the rear cameras.
Hardware and Software
Apple has fitted the iPhone 11 Pro with the latest A13 Bionic chipset which promises so many improvements over its predecessor.
The new chipset is based on the 7nm+ process technology and has an Hexa-core processor clocking speeds of up to 2.65GHz with Apple’s 4-core integrated GPU for games.
It also has 4GB of RAM for multitasking through apps with three storage options to pair it with. These storage options include 64GB, 256GB and 512GB.
Of course, there is no microSD card slot here for storage expansion. iPhone 11 Pro runs iOS 13 out of the box which can be upgraded to iOS 13.1.
Battery and Connectivity
iPhone 11 Pro has a rather small 3,046mAh battery capacity. This battery supports fast battery charging of up to 18W which can get you up to 50% in 30min.
It also supports USB power delivery 2.0 and Qi wireless charging. No reverse wireless charging here.
In terms of connectivity, you get a 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi Direct, GPS, Bluetooth and of course, Apple’s proprietary lightning port for charging and file transfer.
