Koobee F1 Full Specs, Review and Price

Koobee F1 was unveiled a couple of weeks ago as the first smartphone from Koobee’s F series. The F stands for fun and it aims to target selfie lovers.

It has a 16MP crystal clear selfie cam, while the dual rear camera has an interpolated resolution of up 80MP for the perfect zoom. It packs 64GB storage and 4GB RAM as well, let’s find out more.

Design And Display

The F1 smartphone has a Metal back that reflects light beautifully well, it reminds us of the Koolnee K1 but not quite. There are dual rear cameras at the top middle.

These cameras are placed vertically with the fingerprint reader coming underneath. When you turn to the sides, it measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 179g.

Turning to the front, it offers a Full View display with its 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The screen stretches all the way to the sides, while there’s some bezels at the top and bottom corner.

It’s equipped with a tall 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 282 pixels per inch density offering immersive visuals. It also stretches up to 76% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

The MediaTek MT6750 chip runs the race here and comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz tops for improved performance. In the graphics department, the Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card does the trick as well.

In terms of RAM, it packs the standard 4GB RAM space ready to multitask through all your apps and files. While the storage space is pegged at 64GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Dido OS 7.6 on top.

Camera, Network And Connectivity

In the camera department, it’s equipped with dual 16MP + 16MP rear shooters for all your photography needs. There’s another 16MP selfie shooter to handle all your selfies.

The F1 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack with adapter, USB TypeC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

Battery, Price And Availability

The Koobee F1 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Koobee F1 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $199 to $249, that’s about (N70,000 – N85,000).
