Design And Display
The Z91 looks absolutely stunning for a budget smartphone. It looks stylish and elegant as usual. It has an aluminium alloy overall unibody with glass on top.
The body seems like what is used in manufacturing luxury watches. There’s a fingerprint scanner at the rear just in case you don’t like the Face Unlock feature.
You get to see a bigger picture with the Z91 thanks to the full view display. The bezels have been reduced drastically by Lava for the theatre-like experience. It boasts of a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 282 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 75.7% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
The MT6739 chip from Mediatek runs the show here, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz as well. While the PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles graphics.
There are two variants when it comes to RAM and storage space. There’s a standard version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. While the cheaper variant has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

The 13MP rear camera has f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size, autofocus and LED flash. While at the top bezel, there’s an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash as well.
