Design And Display

The Super AMOLED display on this device stretches to 6.39-inch with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels reaching a staggering 88% screen to Body ratio. There is no notch here as the Lenovo Z5 smartphone makes use of a slider that houses the camera which pops up when the need to use the front facing camera arises. The device also features the trendy in-display fingerprint sensor which leaves the back of the device with just the cameras and LED flash placed in the top middle. The device weighs 210 grams, measures 9.3mm thick and has only one colour flavour – Ceramic Black.

Hardware and Software

Lenovo decided to settle for the Snapdragon 710 processor here which clocks speeds of up to 2.2GHz. This is paired with a 6GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and comes with two storage options to choose from – 64GB/128GB with no MicroSD Card slot to expand the storage further. For graphics/gaming, the adreno 616 takes charge. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Lenovo’s ZUI 10 on top.

Camera, Battery & Connectivity

On the device are Four cameras, two up front for selfies and another two at the back. The one at back has a main 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture paired with a secondary 24MP camera which are capable of recording 4k videos at 30fps. There is also a Dual-LED, dual tone flash to light up those low light pictures. Bringing up the slider reveals yet another dual camera setup of 16MP + 8MP with an infared sensor which is used for advanced facial recognition.

Powering the device is a 3350mAh battery with fast charging for quick top ups. There is also a 4G LTE Connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and USB Type-C Port which supports USB On The Go.
