LG Candy has been launched in India as a budget-friendly smartphone for those on a budget. The phone was introduced for those who wouldn’t be able to afford the G7 One and G7 Fit.

Design And Display
The LG Candy has a plastic back that comes in so many different pairs of colours. You can always switch to the colour that suits your lifestyle or the colour that will fit your day.
The phone sports a rear camera and LED flash at the top left corner as well. Furthermore, it measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 152g overall. The back cover is available in Black, Gold, Blue and Silver.\
Turning to the front, there’s the tall 18:9 aspect ratio screen, although it sure looks like 16:9 from afar. The bezels are still thick, especially the top and bottom bezels. There are a speaker grille and selfie camera at the top middle. Nonetheless, it sports a standard 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 294 pixels per inch density. The screen also stretches up to 74.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MT6739 chip from MediaTek takes charge. It comes with its 28nm process node and 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz. In the graphics department, a Mali graphics card controls graphics.
For multitasking, you get a standard 2GB of RAM space available to do the job with a memory speed of 533MHz. In the storage department, the device boasts of 16GB but you can upgrade up to 128GB. It also runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box as well.

When it comes to photography, the LG Candy sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. There’s a LED flash as well to help out in the dark. It has a 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
