Oppo F11 Pro with Pop-up Camera to Launch in Nigeria on April 26th

Oppo, a popular Chinese smartphones maker recently unveiled two new smartphones which include the Oppo F11 and the Oppo F11 Pro with the former having a water drop notch housing the front-facing camera and the latter having a pop-up compartment for its front-facing camera.

Now, Oppo is bringing the Oppo F11 Pro to Nigeria with a launch date set for the 26th of April. As for the phone itself, it is a smartphone with a 6.53-inch LTPS IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a pixel per inch density of 397. It also has a 19:9 aspect ratio with no notch thanks to the pop-up compartment housing the single 16MP front-facing facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture thereby giving the display a clean bezel-less look.

Oppo F11 Pro

At the back of the device is a dual camera setup comprising of a main 48MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF alongside a secondary 5MP depth sensor camera with an f/2.4 aperture. There is also an LED flash, HDR and Panorama. According to Oppo, The camera takes brilliant portrait shots as well as taking excellent photos in low light.

The brain behind the Oppo F11 Pro is the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC; a Chipset with an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz and a Mali-G72 MP3. It comes in two configurations; 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage or 6GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Additional storage can be added via a microSD card of up to 256GB. It runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6 Skin. A fingerprint sensor sits comfortably at back below the cameras for biometric verifications.

Other features of the Oppo F11 Pro includes 4G LTE connectivity, a 3.5mm jack so need for a dongle and the dated microUSB port for fast charging (20W VOOC 3.0) the 4,000mAh battery capacity.

No Official price for the device yet for the Nigeria Market but we will definitely find out in a couple of days at the Launch.
