The Oppo F7 was launched in China recently as a high-class midrange smartphone with 25MP selfie camera. The mobile season won’t be coming to an end anytime soon in Oppo’s factory, literally.

DESIGN
The company won’t be departing from the way they make their smartphones anytime soon. The Metal overall unibody looks so simple and sleek at the same time. The body reflects light beautifully and magically. The rear camera and LED flash sits horizontal to each other at the top left corner.
While the fingerprint scanner is in its usual position, with the Oppo logo underneath. Measuring 7.8mm in thickness and weighing just 158g, the F7 should be very comfortable to hold and operate. It’s available in Black, Silver and Red colours as well.
DISPLAY
Looks like Oppo is really having a swell time creating these good-looking bezel-less beasts with the trending top-notch. The notch houses the usual features like the speaker grille, selfie camera and the rest. While the bottom bezel came out to play as well, disrupting a total bezel-less screen.
Focusing on the screen, the 6.23-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is stunning as usual. Boasting of a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and 405 pixels per inch density, bringing out every detail on the screen. The screen also dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio and stretches up to 82.70% screen to body ratio.
HARDWARE and SOFTWARE
Working underneath is a MediaTek Helio P60 MT6771 chip with 8-cores processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The processor reaches a jaw-dropping speed of 2.0GHz and has an impressive 16nm process technology. Controlling graphics is the ARM Mali G72 MP3 graphics processor that has 3-cores of processor and clocks at 800MHz.
There are two versions in terms of RAM and internal storage space. The standard version comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space, while the much affordable variant packs 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. Both RAM space has a memory speed of 1.8GHz, while the storage space is upgradeable up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 skin.
CAMERA
The single 16MP shooter at the rear has f/1.8 aperture and captures photographs with 4608 x 3456 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with a dual-LED flash and other features like Gesture Shot and the rest. While the Artificial Intelligence powered 25MP Sony IMX576 Exmor RS selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens, HDR, PDAF Focus and supports Face Recognition technology.

The Oppo F7 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3400mAh battery with fast charging technology.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Oppo F7 will be available from April for $449 to $499, that’s about (N150,000 – N180,000).
