Do you remember the Oppo Find X that was released about two years ago? It is finally getting a successor named OPPO Find X2 Pro and this time, it comes with a specs out pro version.
We will be focusing on the pro version here which comes with a whole lot in terms of specifications and features. It has a massive 6.7-inch display with a punch-hole for the camera, a Snapdragon 865 SoC and 12GB of RAM.
There is also half a terabyte of ufs 3.0 storage, a triple rear camera and a 4,260mAh battery capacity. It also runs Android 10 out of the box. Let’s see what else Oppo out in the Find X2 Pro.

Design And Display
Oppo Find X2 Pro looks pretty similar to other flagship smartphones out there with its Corning gorilla glass 6 at the front with a ceramic back and aluminium frame. There is also a different version with glass front and leather back if you fancy that one. As for the display, it is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution 1440 x 3168 pixels and a 513ppi.
Still on the display, it supports HDR10 contents, has a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sensing and reaches a max brightness of up to 800nits. At the top left corner of the display a punch-hole housing the single front-facing camera.
Turning the device to the back reveals the ceramic or leather back, depending on the one you opt for. Furthermore, the thickness and weight are also slightly affected by this. The one with a ceramic back weighs 207grams and measures 8.8mm in thickness while the one with leather weighs 200grams and measures 9.5mm in thickness.
Colour options available for the Oppo Find X2 Pro are Black (Ceramic) and orange (Leather). There is also a Lamborghini edition if that counts as a different colour option.
Oppo Find X2 Pro Camera Review
In the camera department, we have just four cameras on this device, 3 of which are at the rear. The rear cameras comprise of a 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, omnidirectional PDAF, Laser AF and OIS. A 13MP periscope camera with an f/3.0 aperture, 5x optical zoom, PDAF, Laser AF and OIS. Last but not least is another 48MP camera, this time an ultrawide unit with an f/2.2 aperture and AF.
The rear-facing camera also has a dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama and can shoot both 2160p and 1080p videos at 30/60fps with gyro-EIS and HDR as well. For selfies, there is a front-facing 32MP camera with f/2.4 aperture, HDR and can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Oppo Find X2 Pro
Hardware and Software
Just like every other flagship, the Oppo Find X2 Pro is rocking the highest-end SoC; the Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm. This Chipset has an octa-core processor clocking speeds of up 2.84GHz accompanied by an Adreno 650 GPU for gaming. This is then hooked up to a whopping 12GB of RAM for multitasking through apps and a 512GB of ufs 3.0 storage for files.
Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot so no room for more storage. This device runs Oppo’s own ColorOS 7.1 out of the box which is based on the latest Android 10 Operating system.
Battery and Connectivity
Battery Capacity here stands at 4,260mAh which comes alongside Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash charge, capable of getting the device from 0 to 100% in under 40mins. This can only be done through wired charging, courtesy of the USB Type-C port on this device which also supports USB PD. No wireless charging here.
Other features of this device include the new 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, dual-band WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot and GPS. 3.5mm jack is missing here.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro which is set to hit the shelves anytime soon will set you back about $1,299. This for either the one with Ceramic or leather back.
