Few months ago, the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Edition were announced with the trendy notched displays. Some months later, the China-based company unveiled the R17 and R17 Pro smartphones, featuring reduced notch screens. There have now been a lot of speculations, hinting that the upcoming OPPO R19 may come with a newer screen technology that promises larger screen space.
A few days ago, OPPO R19’s concept renders surfaced online, where a new set of images show the mobile device will sport dual in-display cameras, a feature that will enable it to deliver higher screen-to-body ratio.

As you can see in the above video, the R19 concept model’s upper portion has 2 holes for the dual front-facing selfie cameras. Its side bezels are extremely thin and its upper bezels, as well as lower bezels, are quite narrow. This design shows it may provide a screen-to-body ratio of over 95%.
Just like the two R17 phones, the R19 concept device will arrive probably in March 2019, equipped with an AMOLED screen. So, it offers an in-screen fingerprint reader. If you take a look at the rear section of the handset, you will be greeted by its vertically arranged triple camera system.
The R19 concept renders reveal the smartphone will feature 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage versions. While these renders do not contain any information on the rear cameras, the device will offer a 40-megapixel dual front-facing selfie camera setup.
OPPO, which was established in 2004 by Tony Chen, is among the smartphone brands that have hit the gas on plans to launch a 5G phone in the first half of the year 2019. If you take a look at the upper section of the screen of the OPPO R19 concept phone, you will see the 5G logo — a pointer to the possibility that the handset will be the first 5G phone coming from the Dongguan-headquartered electronics company.
