The OPPO Reno 3 Series will be entering the Nigeria market on May 15. According to the official invitation sent to phonecorridor, there will be an online launch event which starts at 3 PM. The OPPO Reno 3 series consists of just two smartphones; Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro. The vanilla Reno 3 comes with a 6.4″ AMOLED 1080p display while the Pro features a 6.4 Super AMOLED 1080p display.
They both run on the same ColorOS 7 skin with Android 10 operating system. In terms of chipset, the Reno 3 comes with the Helio P90 while the Reno 3 Pro has the Helio P95. Both chipsets are built on 12nm process technology and have the same CPU processor.
In the camera department, the OPPO Reno features a 44MP selfie camera embedded in the waterdrop notch of the display. At the back is a 48MP Quad camera system. Whereas, for the OPPO Reno 3 Pro, there are two selfie cameras (44MP + 2MP) embedded inside a pill-shaped hole in the display. While its rear camera module features a 64MP Quad camera setup.
They are both powered by a 4,025 mAh battery capacity with the Reno 3 supporting VOOC 3.0 fast charging while the Reno 3 Pro supports VOOC 4.0 fast charging.
