We gather OPPO is speeding up its efforts to launch the Reno 5 Series here in Nigeria and as usual, all eyes in the industry are on the global smartphone giants. Leaksters and Tipsters have been speculating various specs and prices but we have been able to filter the noise by focusing on the verdicts of tipsters with a credible history of leak accuracy.
One thing is sure, OPPO will be releasing the Reno 5 and Reno 5F in Nigeria and will be doing so only in 4G versions, for obvious reasons; 5G technology is still largely underdeveloped here in Nigeria and we believe a brand like OPPO won’t sell bloatware to Nigerians at a premium. If the leaks by a popular international tipster is anything to go by, here are a few leaked photos of the finished products which show what the Reno 5 and Reno 5F could look like:

Going by the leaked information on these products, the Reno 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, 4350 mAh Battery, Air/Motion Gestures and 50W VOOC Flash Charging System. It will also flaunt a curved 6.43-inch AMOLED display, 1080p resolution with a fluid 90Hz refresh rate. Camera-wise, leaks hint at a single 32MP selfie camera and a 64MP+16MP+13MP+2MP quad camera set-up.
So far, the information we have is sill unconfirmed and should not be referenced/quoted until OPPO releases official information on www.oppo.com/ng
