Oukitel K5 Full Specs Review

Oukitel K5 is one of the most affordable smartphones that offers great value for money. The K5 was introduced a couple of months ago to the K series by Oukitel. The K series are known for their massive battery capacity.

However, the K5 seems to be one the most budget-friendly in the K series, housing a 4000mAh battery. It has the standard 2GB RAM, 16GB storage space and dual rear camera. Lets officially meet the Oukitel K5.

Oukitel K5 Design

The device looks absolutely stunning for a budget-friendly device, it has a Metal overall unibody and frame with glass on top. Thanks to the glass, this makes it reflect light in the most subtle way, sporting curved sides and edges.

The features at the top middle are pretty basic, the dual rear cameras are in a vertical position at the top. There’s a LED flash beside the cameras and a fingerprint scanner underneath, the scanner grants quick access to the device.

If you’re looking for a cheap smartphone with the trending 18:9 aspect ratio screen then look no further. The K5 sports the trending screen, the screen also curved to the sides, while super minimal bezels are present at the top and bottom corner.

The 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is as full as they come, the screen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 282.45 pixels per inch density. There’s a 2.5D Curved Glass on top as well.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737T chip does the job effortlessly with its 28nm process technology. The 4-cores of processor here clocks at 1.5GHz, whereas the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 600MHz.

The 2GB of RAM has a memory speed of 733MHz for smooth multitasking. While in the storage department, the 16GB storage space can be upgraded up to 64GB using a memory card. The Oukitel K5 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

For photography, the dual 13MP + 2MP rear cameras capture the photographs with a few portrait gimmicks. It comes with a LED flash and other features like Optical Zoom, Panorama, Scene mode and the rest. While the 8MP selfie camera takes selfies.

The K5 supports 4G LTE and accommodates dual Nano SIM, it also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS.
