Panasonic Eluga I4 is a budget-friendly smartphone and the watered-down variant of the Eluga Ray 500 smartphone we reviewed earlier. The Eluga I4 targets those on a budget.
The phone offers low-end specs and features and retails for a giveaway price as well. It has 2GB of RAM space for multitasking through light apps and 16GB internal storage space as well.

Design And Display
The smartphone looks stylish and handy no doubt, the back is also very attractive and stunning, to say the least. Furthermore, it sports dual antenna lines which reflects light beautifully.
At the top left corner, we can see the rear camera and LED flash in a horizontal position. While the Panasonic logo sits in the middle, it measures 8.3 mm slim and weighs 150.7g overall.
Turning over to the front, we can see the standard older 16:9 aspect ratio screen. There’s another Panasonic logo at the top bezel, while the physical home button at the bottom doubles as the fingerprint scanner.
It sports a 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, this boasts of 720 x 1280 pixels in resolution and 294 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. It also stretches up to 65.9% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737 budget chipset reigns supreme with its older 28nm process node and comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.25GHz. The Mali-T720MP1 graphics card controls graphics.
For multitasking, the Eluga I4 has 2GB of RAM, this should be enough for light users. For storing files, it has 16GB storage space, although you can upgrade up to 128GB with a memory card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box as well.
Camera And Connectivity
At the rear, it’s equipped with a single 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. There’s a LED flash as well to help you out in the dark. For selfies, it sports a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
The Eluga I4 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIM. It has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
