The popular flagship killer Poco F1 finally gets a proper successor. The new Poco F2 Pro will look to continue the wave of its predecessor by being an affordable flagship device.
The device is built around an impressive 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display panel with HDR10+ support and 1080p+ resolution. It also comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The main camera module consists of a 64MP sensor with pixel binning, a 13MP ultrawide sensor with 123° FoV, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP tele-macro sensor. Its 20MP selfie camera is featured in a pop-up mechanism at the top of the device.
The Poco F2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and paired with two memory options – 6/128GB & 8/256GB. There is no microSD slot here, which could be why the company skipped the 64GB storage variant. The phone features the talked about LiquidCool 2.0 technology which has three layers; graphite, graphene and Super VC. As expected, the Poco phone runs on an Android 10 operating system with Poco Launcher 2.0 custom skin on top.
In the battery department, the smartphone is blessed with a huge 4,700 mAh capacity. It’s a 700 mAh upgrade from what you get on the Poco F1 (4,000 mAh). It supports a 30W fast wired charging.
The Poco F2 Pro will be available for pre-order as from today at AliExpress and Gearbest. Shipping is expected to begin on May 19. The 6GB/128GB base model starts at €500 while the 8GB/256GB goes for €600. Other online outlets like Amazon will get the smartphone in the coming months.
