Qualcomm has announced that its next Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset will be manufactured using a 10nm process. It stated that Samsung will be the one to manufacture the Chipset, which will feature Quick Charge 4.0 that could provide five hours of battery life in a five-minute charge.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Features
From the information we got from GFXBench, the Snapdragon 835 will feature an octa-core CPU, clocked up to 2.2GHz. Qualcomm 835 will provide peak LTE download speeds of up to 1 Gbps, and four-channel LPDDR4X-1866 RAM, in addition to UFS2.1 flash memory. The GPU will be handled by Adreno 540.
We already know that the Snapdragon 835 chipset will be a powerful processor and from the report that its benchmark scores outperform the current industry leader; Apple A10 fusion is a clear signal.
The Snapdragon 835 will be available for deployment in 2017 and it’s likely that Samsung S8 will be the first device that features the chipset.
